McCain and Obama hit crunch time in hunt for No. 2
After months of secrecy and intrigue, presidential rivals Barack Obama and John McCain are almost ready to unveil the winners in the vice presidential sweepstakes.
Warsaw-based Lakeland Financial Corp., parent of Lake City Bank, today reported net income of $4.8 million for the second quarter of 2008, down 9.4 percent from $5.3 million for the second quarter of 2007.
